Marc-Man Update!

So I was debating whether or not to update but I thought I like updating our families and keeping them informed :) This week has been an eventful one!

1st- Michael was helping James with his roof last Saturday and all of us went for a break to Panda Express. Lahni threw up :) I cleaned her up and upon coming out of the bathroom, Marcus threw up....*sigh* Then we got in the car, went home, and 10 minutes into getting home and almost settled, so that Michael and I could go on a date, Helena had found the Children's tylonel and downed half the bottle..... EMERGENCY ROOM TIME! We spent 5 hours in the emergency room, where Helena had to drink Characoal liquid in order to prevent the overdose. There was much struggling, fighting and alot of Charcoal everywhere except her stomach... :) but everything turned out well and we got home and went to bed

2nd- Diaherra DaY- primarily changing a lot of sheets and diapers :)

3rd- Pregnancy appointment- I'm 9 weeks along and Due Date for the new baby is August 22, 2011.. This will be the 3rd baby born in August :)

4th-(and last)Marcus had an evaluation done last week because we were concerned he hasn't been progressing with his language skills. The results were that Marc-Man has been diagnosed with Autism. We are getting geared up to get all of his appoitments down for Intervention programs, speech, and occupational therapy.. On one hand I'm a little scared(overwhemled with the total of 4 kids primarily), but Michael and I are so blessed to have Marcus in our family and we know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and Marcus. I couldn't have asked for a more cuddly, easy going, sweet boy :) and I'm glad that the Lord has blessed us with him.

You must be exhausted from your kids being sick and getting into medicine and all while being pregnant. That's rough!

Marcus is such a sweet, handsome boy. You are wonderful parents that you recognized and got him tested. He is blessed to have parents who can get him early intervention. You certainly do have a lot on your plate but you are such a beautiful family. We love you so much!

SWEET SASSY MOLASSY that is a crazy week girl! I'm sorry the kiddos were so sick. Hopefully everyone is feeling better. SO SCARY about the Tylenol but you guys acted quick. Helena was in great hands, poor baby. Marcus is awesome. I think, despite the autism, he will turn out just fine. I have quite a few friends who have young autistic children. If you want, I can get you in touch with them so you have some people to whom you can ask questions, if you want. Lemme know!
